I have been busy painting...some pastels some oils. I will post my newest pastel Titled, Spring at the Summer house. This is the neighbors house that I grew up near every summer on the coast of Maine. The Gauthier's was a place of activity. People coming and going. Mr. Gauthier was an avid fisherman and Mrs. Gauthier was engulfed in crafts. Her cake decorating reveled the best. I was so glad my sister had a birthday in the summer so she could be the recipient of one of these cakes...and I could have a piece!
The house is now held by a family member since the Gauthier's passed away. It is still a happy house with a huge wrap around deck facing the ocean. Painting this house brought back some great memories... of a time gone by.
This came out so great, Suzanne! Glad you kept the turquoise sky!
