The Meadow calls

Today's post is about the many beautiful view on Monhegan that don't have water in them. I am one of those people who love the ocean, the smell the feel the colors, everything about the ocean. So to be on an island and want to paint a meadow is just a bit odd for me but I saw this meadow behind our rented cottage that had so many colors in it. The birds were darting among the grasses all the while singing their glorious songs. It was a symphony of sound and color.
