Loose painting
I am concentrating on painting loose. This is not an easy feat for me. I sometimes get caught in the details of realism. This week in class I chose a simple composition and tried to paint a backlit tree. I ended up cropping the painting because the tree had become the focal point and I wanted it to be the sunset.
