I dream of Monhegan

Yes, now Monhegan Island in all is glory is now a memory...a wonderful one. Last night I dreamed I was back on the island with the cool, fragrant breezes blowing down on me. Thank goodness I have this memory because it sure was hot here! I thought of all the many artist that has come and gone from the island and all the paintings that have been painted of this amazing place. I realize they were inspired just as I was, knocked over by the beauty of this special place. It feels good to be among this group of artists. It feels good to paint Monhegan.
